The front of these curtains aren't the best- BUT, they would have worked fine in our kids room... however, I didn't realize the backing of the curtains was black plastic????? Which would look SO tacky showing from the front of our house... there is just no way I would hang these up. They do block out the light well enough- but the plastic makes the curtains cheap looking. It's unfortunate cause the price was great... oh well, in process of returning them.

i wish i could give these curtains no stars. they are awful. when i opened the package, i smelled rubber, and i thought it was the package itself. no. these curtains are backed in black rubber. so cheap looking and feeling. you can barely get them on the curtain rod because they aren't lined in the pocket where the rod goes through; it's rubber lined in there! needless to say, they are going back!

they do block out all the light, slightly on the plasticly table cloth side on the light blocking side but dont look like it when hanging up since you see the mmicrofiber cloth side. You will need 2 panels per window. make sure to use decent curtain rod to hang them on as they are not flimsy curtains and have some heft to them so you don't want then to fall down right after being hung. I can now sleep in in the mornings which is awesome.
